Are these tools really free?
Yes. The available browser-based tools are free, with no registration or added watermark. Limits help keep processing manageable on your device.
Do you upload or store my files?
Local modes do not upload your files. Optional full Word conversion requires an explicit upload agreement. Local files are held in browser memory while you work. Start over or close the tab to release the working files. Downloads you save remain on your device.
Can I use FileMint on my phone?
Yes, in a modern browser. Smaller files work best on phones. Each file can be up to 40 MB, with up to 200 PDF pages per job.
Will PDF to Word keep my formatting?
Text extraction produces editable words but omits pictures and the original layout. Page-preserving mode keeps each page as an image, so the text is not editable. The tool explains both options before you convert.
